Central Tattoo Supplies Ltd started trading early 2007 incorporating
the combined experience of over 24 years within the Tattooing Trade of Josie Gibson (14 years) and Nicole Douglas
(11 years). An established interest and passion for the Tattooing trade
and related aspects of the community inspired the formation of the
company, with the aim to provide a professional service and attitude
within the market and its requirements.
Our experience began through employment with Eric and Patricia Davis
who themselves (before retirement in 2003) had overseen their family
business since the early 1980's following the retirement of Eric's
father Charles Davis. There was a long standing family history within
tattooing evolving from George Burchett-Davis, (Eric's Great
Uncle, who traded as George Burchett) the UK's leading Tattooist Artist
through the first half of the 20th century. His more prominent clients
included The Great Omi, King George V, King Alfonso VIII of Spain and King Frederick IX of Denmark; while his wife Edith was ‘Professor' George's best model.
In 2006, Keystone introduced pneumatic tattooing to the UK; now some of the finest artists in the business use Keystone systems. Keystone is
official distributor of JUN-AIR, STIGMA, NEUMA, BOLDT, EIKON, HAWK, MIKE DEVRIES, WAVERLY, INFINITE IRONS and of course, the KEYSTONE product line. Max MacAndrews founded Keystone on quality products. MacAndrews comes from a heritage of Armoury and Defence Industry Engineering, from which he was discharged with distinction in 1995. MacAndrews began on pressure vessel technology and weapons maintenance systems in the nineties with 9mmR and DML, both projects funded by the Norwegian Govt and Blom Intl. Keystone Military Technologies is now a preferred & registered MOD contractor; MacAndrews is engaged in constant R&D for the Armed Forces. MacAndrews' innovations have been showcased at Science Museum, London and much of his work has found its way into the field and now airpowered tattooing.

History
Originally part of the traditional bakeware manufacturer, the Prestige Group, Prestige Medical successfully introduced the non-electric sterilizer in 1986. After rapid sales growth, the company separated from the Group and continued to develop more sophisticated products.
The Series 2000 electric sterilizer was launched in 1988 and was replaced in 1991 with the improved Classic unit. The Century bench-top autoclave, launched in 1997, had a major impact in both UK and export markets and further developed the reputation of Prestige Medical Ltd as an authority in sterilization.

20-21 VISUAL ARTS CENTRE
20-21 Visual Arts Centre is a gallery in the North of England. The centre is located less than 20 miles away from Doncaster Racecourse. There are five gallery spaces housed inside a spectacular neo-gothic former church with a café and shop.
We exhibit inspiring work by contemporary artists, leading craft makers and designers covering a diverse range of art forms. In the past we have shown work by tattoo artists, coffin makers and custom car builders alongside more traditional contemporary art mediums.
We want to encourage people of all ages to create their own work and discover more about the art on display. We have a free drop-in creative 'Art-tivity' in the gallery every day as well as pre-book special workshops, life drawing and artist talks. Look out for our popular 'Days of Celebration' where you can take part in many fun and innovative activities and have the chance to meet and work with professional artists.
From May until August 2010 we will host another tattoo art related exhibition at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre called ‘Tattoo Exhibitionism: from sideshow to gallery’ which will then tour to other venues in the UK. We are delighted to be able to present a tattoo art exhibition at Tattoo Jam 2009.
