Opening Times:
ARTIST friDAY 2-12
SATURDAY 12-12
SUNDAY 12-7
Tattoo Jam 2009 will be the biggest Tattoo convention in the UK! With over 200 working artists, a day specifically for people working within the tattoo industry (ARTIST friDAY), seminars, Tattoo Masters’ Ball, trade stands, vendors, live entertainment, awards and a few other special treats, it will be one extraordinary weekend…
Of course, we listened to last year’s visitors' comments and to put on an event this size, we needed a venue that could handle what we wanted to achieve, as well as expand in future years (Yes, 2010 will be even bigger!). To this effect, we have moved the event to Doncaster Racecourse.
After scouring the country's venues that fit our brief, we decided on Doncaster Racecourse as this ticked all the boxes and more (as you will see). Following a recent £34 million development, it provides us with a superb state-of-the-art venue, with good road and rail links from Edinburgh, London and the Midlands and parking for up to 3,000 vehicles. The main room, the Lazarus Exhibition Hall, will house the vast majority of trade stands. With separate adjoining function rooms for entertainment, there's even a food hall that caters for all tastes, as well as being (more importantly) reasonably priced!
We look forward to seeing you; it’s going to be massive!
Our chosen charity this year is one also championed by tattooedalt.popstar, P!NK; PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide). This charity does a fantastic job for young people and we plan on having many top items to bid for on the Saturday evening, including a guitar signed by P!NK, original paintings, books, signed prints and other goodies, so dig deep!
